Does Green Country Habitat give away homes?

We do not give away homes - Green Country Habitat homeowners pay a mortgage like any other homeowner. The difference is that we work directly with our clients along with community organizations and local financial institutions to keep housing costs affordable and sustainable.

Where do you build?

For several years we built most of our homes in the Kendall-Whittier and Crutchfield Neighborhoods in Tulsa. Currently we are building several developments in North Tulsa and one development in East Tulsa. For more information, visit our Where We Build page.

Do you build custom homes?

Green Country Habitat does not build custom homes. Green Country Habitat homes are based on Habitat’s standard house plans. For more information on our house plans, visit our home plans page.

What do I need to do to sign up for a house?

Do I qualify for a Habitat home?

What if I don't have good credit?

If your FICO score is under 600, you can schedule an appointment with one of our Homeowner Counselors for credit counseling. Visit our Contact Us page for our contact information.

When can I move into my Habitat home?

The Homebuyer Program takes, on average, one year to complete. During your time in the program, your home will be constructed.

What courses will I take in the Homebuyer's College?

In the Homebuyer's College, you will take classes on Money Management, Lawn Care, Home Repair, Banking 101, and Good Neighbor/Well Being.
