Foundation Builders’ Society

Legacy Society LogoSupport the mission of Tulsa Habitat for Humanity through Endowment Building.

Tulsa Habitat for Humanity provides hope and housing to communities in need.  The Tulsa Habitat endowment ensures that the work will continue for years to come.  Through our partnership with Tulsa Community Foundation (read more) and as a service for our donors and friends, Tulsa Habitat provides complimentary, confidential, financial planning services.

The Foundation Builders Society exists to recognize and thank supporters who make a commitment to support Tulsa Habitat for Humanity’s endowment through an estate gift (gifts through wills, trusts, life insurance). These estate gifts help Tulsa Habitat continue our mission.

 Gifts through your Estate

Estate giving is a process of discovery on of how to integrate charitable giving now or after your lifetime, while enjoying financial benefits for you and your family.
These types of gifts are sometimes referred to as “stop-and-think” gifts because they require some planning and, help from your professional advisors. Unlike cash donations, they are typically made from assets in your estate rather than disposable income, and are gifted to charity upon your death.
The most common planned gift is a bequest in your will or living trust. Other planned gifts include:
  • A charitable gift annuity
  • A charitable remainder trust
  • A charitable lead trust
  • Retirement plan assets
  • Life insurance policies
